I want to thank you so much for being a very important part of the Nashville Annual Blues Reunion. You did a wonderful job and Bobby Hebbs family also appreciated you acknowledging them during this time of mourning. Your performance was great and your expressions of love, sacrifice and contribution were impecable. I am so glad we are friends and also I don't want to leave out your little boys Dennis and Bruce. They are learning the valuable lesson of giving from the heart from you. They will take that with them the rest of their lives and it will help to make them be strong and loving men. You are a great talent, a great friend and a great Mom.
I love you girl,
Marion
OMG!!!!! Brotherman is being so conservative when he says you were amazing at the Blues Reunion last night! Girl, you burned the barn down!! Next to James Brown, I have never seen a stronger live performance in my life!! It was such an honor to be on that gig with you. I am so proud of you! I am also so glad that your strongest performance was for such a great and noble cause. After last night, there is now no question that you are truly "The Outlaw Princess of Nashville!" Congratulations on a job very, very well done Princess!
Doc
Hey you!
You were amazing at last nights Blues Reunion as were all of the great artists that were there. I was so touched when you asked Bobby Hebbs family to stand for recognition. God was smiling on your performance last night. I have never heard you do a stronger show or seen you looking more radiant. As always, you left me and the audience astounded and wanting more.
I love you girl!

A celebration of jazz and the visual arts with jazz performances in the music room and auditorium by more than a dozen regional artists and youth ensembles. A 2-day free event.
Put it this way: Jazz is a good barometer of freedom… In its beginnings, the United States of America spawned certain ideals of freedom and independence through which, eventually, jazz was evolved, and the music is so free that many people say it is the only unhampered, unhindered expression of complete freedom yet produced in this country.~~~Duke Ellington
Dubbed "The First Lady of Song," Ella Fitzgerald was the most popular female jazz singer in the United States for more than half a century. In her lifetime, she won 13 Grammy awards and sold over 40 million albums
A saxophonist, composer, producer and educator, Bobby Watson grew up in Kansas City, Kansas. He trained formally at the University of Miami, and he proceeded to earn his doctorate on the bandstand -- as musical director of Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers.
George, thank you and thank GOD for blessing you with insight to create WDCJN! The Network has been my connection to the greatest Jazz Legends alive today and Emerging Jazz Icons.
