 l of the Arts.\n\nRecently named both “Artist of the Year” and “
 Composer of the Year” of 2014 by Washington DC’s City Paper, Mark 
 G Meadows is a jazz pianist, vocalist, composer, and jazz educator. He
  performs throughout the Washington-Baltimore region and across the US
 .  Mark recently released his second album, “Somethin’ Good”, w
 hich has received worldwide acclaim. He also was recently awarded the 
 title of Strathmore’s “Artist in Residence” for the 2014-2015 se
 ason.  Mark is appearing alongside world-renowned musicians such as W
 arren Wolf, Cyrus Chestnut, Dontae Winslow, Kris Funn, Todd Marcus, Er
 ic Kennedy, Chad Lefkowitz Brown, Elijah Balbed, Quincy Phillips, Gary
  Thomas, Paul Bollenback, & Dr. Alex Norris.  He has led and has been
  a sideman in premier clubs in the Baltimore-Washington region includi
 ng The Strathmore, Blues Alley, Bohemian Caverns, Bethesda Jazz & Blue
 s Supper Club, Caton Castle, Twins Jazz, The Metropolitan Club, An Die
  Musik, The Hopkins Club, The Jazz Loft Series, and the Strathmore. So
 mehow in Mark’s demanding schedule, he finds the time to teach four 
 courses as an adjunct instructor at the Duke Ellington School of the A
 rts in Washington, D.C.    Son of a gospel and jazz vocalist, when M
 ark was three years old and living in Washington DC, his father bought
  him a little Casio keyboard and invited Mark to “have at it”.  M
 ark has been “having at it” ever since, to the delight of audience
