DESCRIPTION:The Waldorf based entertainment company will once again ut
 ilize the historic Old Waldorf School as a venue to bring live music t
 o the area. Stone Street Entertainment CEO Dolores Gibbs is steadfast 
 in her commitment to bringing talented jazz and blues musicians to tow
 n for early evening shows that are geared toward a more mature audienc
 e.  After a successful 2017 inaugural season, the fledgling company i
 s back for a repeat and will host \"WV's First Lady of Soul\" Lady D f
 or the first event of 2018. Lady D is becoming a fixture in the DMV ha
 ving performed with some of the area's premier blues artists as well a
 s having presented her one-woman stage plays, \"The Lady and the Empre
 ss\" and \"Bessie's Blues.\" She was also a winner of the D.C. Blues S
 ociety's Battle of the Bands in 2017 and a featured performer at the i
 nauguration of former President Barack Obama in 2009. Also featured on
  this Jazz & Blues Sunday will be the local jazz band, \"Club Malbec
 .\" This group is based in Waldorf and consists of well-seasoned afici
 onados of the Great American Songbook. Their interpretation of well-kn
 own jazz standards is highlighted by the prowess of their lead vocalis
 t, Lynn English and the excellent musicianship of a well-rounded grou
 p. Popular radio personality, Dr. Nick of DC’s listener supporter co
 mmunity radio station WPFW will be returning as emcee for Jazz & Blues
