What instrument do you play?
French Horn and trumpet and I sing (trained classical singer via private studies, drammatic soprano fach). I'm currently learning to play violin and piano. Teachers include Emily Stauch, Matthew Maffett, and Dave Balandrin.
Who influenced you to listen to jazz
I love the greats such as Louis Armstrong, Charlie Parker, Etta James, Billie Holliday, and Valaida Snow. Listening to them has really inspired me; so soulful and emotive. I especially love big band and swing.

Tell us about yourself
Vermont native, moved to DC in July 2011. I'm a USAF vet and former Peace Corps volunteer. I've played horn for about 23 years and trumpet for about 18 years.
