- My cousin Marvin turn me on to Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Thelonious Monk, Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie and others when I was 17, since then I have taken my own journey from Chet Baker to Pat Metheney.

- Retired military, working overseas. Fell hard for the vocal style of Michael Franks while in tech school in Denver. Ever since have travel the world and listen to all forms of music and realize that the same can be said that jazz is worldwide.
