- Candy Shannon was a refreshing breath into the stale Washington market when she came on the air. Over 30 years of on air experience. Her's was a voice that you could just sit and listen to all day long. Candy did evenings and later mid-days. She has stayed in the DC area and has been heard on WPFW, WHUR and WDCU.
