Ronnie- This is THE site for jazz players. Thanks so much for inviting me to it. I joined two days ago and have had some very meaningful correspondences so far. Facebook, Myspace, and Youtube all have their pluses for sure, but I think this site will prove to be the go-to site for real players and anyone who really wants to get inside the creation and love of the music. I'm hoping your academics are thriving and that you are getting enough of a chance to play as you want. I always have too much to do, but I grab my chances at playing as much as I can, and at times I practice as much as I did when I was in my 20s! I'm connecting closely again and it feels really good. I do hope we play some day soon. I still haven't gotten out to PA since I last saw you, but when I do, I'll let you know in advance. Meanwhile, if something does present itself for us that you can think about, let me know, and I'll come out. Even on bass, it would be a gas to swing and funk hard again. I love this picture of you and the Duke! Peace to you, brother. All Best- Bruce

One more thing- yesterday I came across a 2 track master of yours simply labelled "Ronnie's Tune" I'll bet you anything it's the tune you did with JP where you sang, "Hey, I thought you said you loved me..." If you want it, I'll send it to you. Let me know if you're interseted. -BW
