CUBAN BORN, AFRO-CUBAN PERCUSSIONIST WITH 15 YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE HAVING TOURED INTERNATIONALLY WITH LEGENDARY ARTISTS SUCH AS:
BARRY WHITE, STEVIE WONDER, MACY GRAY, JULIO IGLESIAS, JOHN TESH AND OTHERS. PRESENTLY PERFORMING WITH MY OWN AFR0-CUBAN SALSA BAND AT LOCAL VENUES AND FESTIVALS WORLD-WIDE.

    Please support Afro Cuban Percussionist, Melena, as she conducts the first, of a series of percussion workshops that, hopefully with your support, she will be periodically conducting in the Richmond/Tri-Cities area. No experience is necessary, and the classes are open to all ages. The Master Class will be a Lecture/Demonstration and Performance of Bata Drums and Congas by Melena as stated below, but the 2 Workshops will be hands-on instruction on Congas, so you will need to bring your own congas. In addition, please pass this e-mail and attached flyer to a friend of percussion!
