"REMEMBER" KNOWLEDGE IS KING
The founder for the Russell Herbal Company is Russell Harrison. This Master Wholistic Healer and Herbalist and has also been trained in Iridology and Acupuncture. Russell has been practicing and continually training in his artful field of combined alternative health care for the past twenty-five plus years.
Russell was born in August of 1949 in Harlem N.Y. the 4th of six children. As a young boy Russell showed his entrepreneurial side by expanding a simple stocking job in a local market into a delivery service to senior tenets in the area. Russell recalls making deliveries for some of the more well known residents in the neighborhood such as Nipsey Russell and Ruth Brown. Even at this early age Russell started making the connection between the different diets of these seniors and the "good" or "bad" health that went along with their eating habits.
The Health Diet and Excercise According to Russell Harrison...
When Russell was thirteen and in the 8th grade his family decided to move to Omaha, Nebraska; needless to say this must have been a great shock to Russell. This would turn out to be the beginning of a very important chapter in Russell's life. "I noticed the stillness of every day life - my clothes where so different - the streets where unpaved, what a shift in reality", were some of Russell's first thoughts when he arrived in Omaha. "I had to do something to fight off the bordom, so I started participating in sports as much as I could". When Russell started in sports he took to it like he dose with most things, by putting all his heart and mind fully into it. At the age of fifteen Russell captured the 1964 National AAU Junior Olympic 100 yard dash record and held it until the event was changed to the 100 meter dash. At football Russell was just as naturally prolific. In his first game on his first carry he made an 80 yard rushing play resulting in a touchdown. Russell was highly recruited city wide by high schools and he eventually attended Omaha Technical High School based on the compassion for players and the game he felt in the Head Coach. His choice paid off, Russell was All-State and All-American (HM) in football and continued to perform very well in track and field, collecting on average 6 medals per tract meet. Read more...
Russell was recruited by and matriculated to Kansas State University on a football scholarship and majored in Pre-Veterinary Sciences. For all his life Russell remembers having excellent health and he was now at the pinnacle of his health. Unfortunately he took it for granted and was involved in an alcohol related accident on New Years Eve 1970. Russell spent the next 26 days in the hospital with Carbon Monoxide poisoning. As luck would have it Russell could still play at the same level and so he did. However, the same man did not return to the playing field, Russell had not only noticed the change in his surroundings, but he states "I noticed a greater change in me". "I became more aware of the things and people around me and my tunnel vision for sports was gone" recollects Russell. He was playing well and with some other great players: Larry Brown, Clarence Scott, Mike Montgomery, Len Dickey and Mack Herron; but he didn't feel the same, the game didn't feel the same, he says "my world view, concentration and thoughts began to drift towards HEALTH". The situation at Kansas State U. changed alot in Russell's final year there, it had a lot to do with the coaching staff changes, but he took the opportunity to look deeper into himself and discover what was trully important to him.
When he was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in 1971.During his first year . he showed all of his abilities and was shown the ropes of professional football by all-pro cornerback Kermit Alexander. Other players were extremely helpful throughout were Deacon Jones, Merlin Olsen ,Coy Bacon, who also helped to keep a young player's head on straight. As life's ups and downs go, Russell suffered a severe knee injury that all thought would end his career, but he returned the second year only to find disappointments with salary and so he decided to go to TORONTO in the canadian football leaugue only to blow his other knee out. THUS is the beginning of his self examinating goals to find out the truth behind health and diet. Russell's search continues even today as his is always consumed with reading important health issues and sharing as much of this information with his clients.
The latest finding, reports, claims in the herbal field to insure this information to his customers. Russell continues to do yoga, deep breathing exercises, swims, meditation, conditioning, weight-training and mostly just staying focused.

I caught a straight up vibe with this song. The intro led me into euphoria leading up to tha chorus dropping. It's tha kind of song that makes you want to move even if you're not much of a dancer. The "breaking free" part of her lyrics is just so beautifully sung. Gotta love a singer who uses her voice to glorify God.…
