Note 2: We are adding the Hotel Tabard Inn to our venue list after discovering their website. For years they have been offering free Sunday night jazz in their lounge with duos consisting of bassist Victor Dvoskin and guest artists, typically guitarists and, at least now, also pianists.

Note 6: University of the District of Columbia Felix E. Grant Jazz Archives has announced a new Jazz Forum Series, which has been organized by jazz researcher and author Michael Fitzgerald. Michael recently relocated to Washington to work at the Jazz Archives and is well-known for his work as a jazz discographer. He has the website www.jazzdiscography.com.
