REGISTRATION is taking place throughout the rest of the summer for next season. Accepting students ages 3 through adult. Come in or call 609-403-6070/609-227-6348

"NUTCRACKER CAFE' AU LAIT"

 

Audition Schedule

 

11:00-12:00am ~ Ages 4-6

12:00-1:30pm ~ Ages 7-11

1:30-3:00pm ~ Ages 12-17 (Int/Adv Pointe and non-pointe dancers)

3:00-4:00 Adults (Maids, Butlers, Party Scene Parents)

 

*All students must wear ballet attire for the auditions.

 

Girls must have their hair pulled back or in a bun.

*Please PRE-REGISTER by calling WJDT at 609-403-6070 or 609-227-6348.

*Please arrive 20 minutes prior to your audition time for check-in and to warm-up.

*The cast list will be posted and emailed one week after auditions.

*All students participating in The Nutcracker must be registered for a minimum of one ballet, jazz or modern class at WJDT through December 15.

We look forward to meeting all who want to participate.

 

Dance is a discipline that exercises the mind as well as the body.

With over 21 years of success, WJDT feels the experience in dance should lead students positively in other areas of their lives.

Brandee Stephens  (left)- Fergie (center)

Brandee joined the Watson-Johnson Dance Theatre at the age of 8. After a move to Atlanta, GA, she auditioned to perform with then Lil' Bow-Wow and got the spot as a dancer for his tour. Over the years, Brandee has had the opportunity to perform with a plethora of recording artists sucha as Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, Ne-Yo and the Blackeye Peas. She is now making her mark in the dance world as a dancer/choreographer for the pop sensation Fergie, touring the world, performing in major concerts. Brandee has also appeared on television and in music videos.

Shayla-Vie Jenkins, originally from Ewing, NJ, began dance training at Watson Johnson Dance Theater and Mercer County Performing Arts School. In 2004, she graduated with honors from Fordham University. She has performed with The Kevin Wynn Collection, Nathan Trice Rituals, The Francesca Harper Project and Yaa Samar Dance Theater. In 2008, she was featured in Dance Magazine’s “On The Rise” performers. Ms. Jenkins joined the Company in 2005.
