"The Sentiquential Musician, Composer, Arranger of Modern Times"
I'm most appreciative of this very comprehensive "blog', put together by the very talented Mr. George V. Johnson Jr. In fact, it is more than a "blog" to me; it almost reads like my professional life history in music. It is very thorough, and professional. I recommend every musician, who is interested in marketing, and promoting him or herself, contact Mr. Johnson and the Washington D.C. Jazz Network.

Hello George, I am proud to be a member of the Washington DC Jazz Network (WDJN).
I am able to find out what's going on in town and on the east coast
and to network with other musicians. I get a lot of my news from the emails I receive from WJN.
I also would like to thank you for supporting the Jazz
program at Howard University in Washington, DC. Keep up the great work.~~~

"My mission is to uplift and inspire through music. In that regard, I consider myself a soul singer — reaching from the inside out, telling stories, stirring emotions, helping my listeners feel good. My goal is to continue creating, finding and telling new stories that bring us all closer together. That’s what music is all about."

In this age of auto-tune, quick fixes and artistic gimickery, her love of people, performance style, and energy have ensured her a spot in the Jazz community for a long time.

Dale Fielder is an American jazz saxophonist, composer and band leader. He is a multi-instrumentalist who plays all four saxophones: soprano, alto, tenor and baritone with equal authority. He is known for his original compositions and choice of performing rare, obscure jazz classics as well as his varied group concepts and variety of presentations. Fielder has recorded over 13 CDs as a leader for various labels since he first appeared on the national jazz scene in 1993 with his first CD Free Flow. He grew up in Midland, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Pittsburgh where he studied oboe, bassoon and tuba in the school system and clarinet, saxophone, composition and arranging privately with noted Pittsburgh area tenor saxophonist Phillip Celli. Fielder is also a product of the University of Pittsburgh Jazz Studies Program, where he studied as an ethnomusicology major under Dr. Nathan Davis.
